Certified Applicator of the No Etch® System
At Hard Floor Care we are proud to be certified applicators of the No Etch® system from TileMaster, a market-leading solution for acid-sensitive stone surfaces. According to TileMaster, the No Etch® system is a “durable coating for marble, limestone and travertine … that eliminates etching and staining” when correctly applied by certified professionals.
What this means for you
- The system is not a generic off-the-shelf sealer: it is restricted to use by accredited, trained applicators — like our team.
- It offers protection specifically for acid-sensitive stones (marble, limestone, travertine, onyx and similar) where standard impregnators are insufficient.
- The finish is clear and transparent, preserving the natural look of your stone while providing enhanced protection.
- As certified applicators, we are able to guarantee correct preparation, application, curing and after-care so you realise the full benefit of the system.
Why No Etch® is a strong choice for your stone
- Prevents etching: Acidic substances (lemon juice, wine, vinegar, certain cleaners) can instantly etch sensitive stone surfaces. The No Etch® system significantly reduces that risk.
- Stain resistance built in: While many sealers manage stains, No Etch® is designed to reduce both staining and etching concurrently.
- Versatile application: Suitable for polished, honed or leathered finishes, horizontal surfaces (like kitchen worktops and vanities) and vertical applications.
- Professional standard and warranty potential: Because it’s installed by certified professionals, you may benefit from a robust warranty or enhanced performance lifespan compared to DIY treatments.
How our service works
- Survey and assessment – We inspect your stone surface (finish, condition, any existing coatings, risk of acid exposure) and advise whether No Etch® is the right solution.
- Preparation – Any previous coatings are removed, the stone cleaned and prepared, so the No Etch® product can penetrate and bond correctly.
- Application – We apply the No Etch® in controlled conditions (correct coverage, dwell time, curing) to ensure maximum performance per manufacturer’s instructions.
- Curing & after-care – The surface is allowed to cure fully; we provide you with tailored maintenance advice to extend the life of the treatment.
- Peace of mind – With our certified installation, you get premium protection and the confidence of knowing the system is installed to correct standards.
Ideal Use-Cases for No Etch®
- Marble kitchen islands, worktops or splashbacks subject to acidic foods and liquids
- Travertine or limestone vanity tops where toiletries and cosmetics may contact the surface
- High-spec domestic or commercial environments where appearance must be maintained and damage minimised
- Heritage or luxury stone surfaces where maintaining original look + minimising risk are key
Marble Vanity units aboard Cunard Queen Elizabeth restored by us, video shows No Etch in action, acid is poured onto surface, where there is no protection there is reaction and the acid fizzes which is what causes the etching, whilst there is no reaction on the treated part

Here’s what it means and why it matters for your project.
What the system delivers
- Faber AS 930 CP is solvent-based and engineered for acid-sensitive materials such as marble, travertine and limestone. Faber Surface Care+2HF Flooring Supplies LTD+2
- It offers etch resistance (protecting against acidic spills that would otherwise damage or dull the stone) and stain resistance (helping guard against oil, beverages or everyday soiling) while maintaining a polished, natural finish. Faber Surface Care+1
- Importantly, it’s certified safe for surfaces in contact with food – making it ideal for kitchen islands, vanity tops and high-end worktops. HF Flooring Supplies LTD+1
- Coverage is approximately 15-20 m² per kg (for typical polished stone surfaces) when applied according to instructions. Faber Surface Care+1
Why this is a premium choice
Unlike standard sealers, which might guard against stains only, the Faber AS 930 CP system addresses the etching risk too — a key concern for sensitive stones. Plus, the finish remains natural (no “plastic” film build-up) and it remains stable over time (won’t yellow). Marble Corner+1
For homeowners, specifiers and commercial clients seeking stone surfaces that look great and stay protected in high-traffic or premium settings, this system represents a high-end solution — and when installed by a certified team, you gain maximum benefit.
