An outline of how we refurbish your wooden floors to make the look fabulous again!

Step 1: Richard will complete a walk-through inspection with you to identify your requirements, discussing with you potential options and how the our service can fit in with your project.

Step 2: Once everything is agreed we will turn up on time to start the sanding (which involves several sanding processes) of boards to remove old lacquer, oils, and other finishes back to the bare wood. Using industry standard belt and orbital sanding machines we ensure your wood is smooth and flat, giving it the best finish.

Step 3: Once the main floor is sanded, we then move on to detailing sections such as edges, we use specialist edging machine cutting right to the skirting boards.

Step 4: Now the whole floor is sanded we complete one more light sand all over to remove any light scratches which may have occurred, now your floor is ready for sealing and staining.

Step 5: Depending on your choice of whether to leave in the floor in its natural beauty or if you have decided to alter the appearance, we would now apply the stain of your choice.

Step 6: Application of base coat to prime the wood for lacquered or oiled finish. Once this layer is dry it the floor is lightly sanded to remove any prickles which may have occurred.

Step 7: Apply 1st coat of lacquer or oil, once this layer is dry it the floor is lightly sanded to remove any prickles which may have occurred.

Step 8: Apply 2nd coat of lacquer or oil (if required),

Step 9: Your floor is now finished, Richard will guide you as of to when you can walk on the floor and put furniture and other items back on the floor.
