Commercial Case Study: Cruise Ship Vanity Restoration

Our team, led by Richard and Michelle, was contracted for repeat restoration work aboard P&O and Cunard cruise ships, under the Carnival Cruises UK group. One notable project involved the restoration of 128 marble vanity units, heavily etched by improper cleaning agents and acidic exposure.

Using industrial-grade planetary grinders, we carefully resurfaced the marble, removing all etching and micro-scratches. The vanities were then progressively honed and polished through a multi-step diamond process, returning each surface to a high-gloss, mirror-like finish—with enhanced resistance to future chemical etching.
