Hello, We're Richard and Michelle, When You Book with Us — It's Always Us Who Do the Work in your home or commercial setting bringing with us over 20 years of experience

Marble Vanity Unit and Worktop Restoration Service for Residential Properties, Hotels, Yachts and Bars.
Why replace when you can restore?
Marble is a stunning, luxurious material—but over time, even the most beautiful surfaces can lose their lustre. Countertops, vanity tops, worktops, and shower walls can become stained, etched, scratched, or simply lose their shine, leaving you wondering if replacement is your only option.
At Hampshire Hard Floor Care, we believe in restoring rather than replacing. Richard and Michelle, the skilled husband-and-wife team behind the business, are passionate about bringing marble surfaces back to life. With years of experience and a meticulous eye for detail, they specialise in repairing, refinishing, protecting, sealing, and fully restoring marble to its natural beauty—and often making it look even better than before.
Trusted by Prestigious Clients Across the UK
Richard and Michelle’s expertise is trusted not only by homeowners but also by major commercial clients. They have completed repeat restoration work for Carnival Cruises UK aboard P&O and Cunard cruise ships, as well as for a range of high-end residential and commercial properties.
One notable example involved restoring 128 marble vanity units aboard a cruise ship. These units had suffered severe etching and dullness from constant use and harsh cleaning chemicals. Richard and Michelle expertly ground the marble surfaces to remove etching and scratches, then polished them to a breath-taking high-shine finish, transforming the ship’s interiors back to a standard worthy of luxury travel.

Our Comprehensive Marble Restoration Services Include:
✅ Etch Removal
Also known as “water spots,” etching occurs when acidic substances damage the marble’s surface. We professionally remove these marks to restore a smooth, uniform appearance.
✅ Refinishing
We can hone and polish your marble to restore its natural brilliance or change the finish to satin, matte, or high gloss, depending on your preference.
✅ Crack Repair
Our skilled repairs virtually erase cracks, ensuring your marble’s integrity and beauty are preserved.
✅ Chip Repair
Chips can be unsightly and collect dirt. We expertly fill chips and colour-match repairs so they blend seamlessly as much as possible with the surrounding stone.
✅ Sealing
Proper sealing is crucial to protect your marble from future staining and etching. We apply high-quality sealants that provide long-lasting protection while maintaining the stone’s natural look.
✅ Stain Removal
Even stubborn stains can often be removed with our specialist poulticing methods, which draw out discolouration from deep within the stone.
Whether you have marble vanity units worktops, walls, or decorative features, Richard and Michelle can restore the satin, matte, or polished finish so your surfaces once again “wow” your family, guests, or patrons. They also offer periodic maintenance services to help keep your marble and limestone looking pristine all year round.
At Hampshire Hard Floor Care, your marble surfaces are in expert hands. Richard and Michelle pride themselves on delivering outstanding results with a personal, friendly service.

This is our recent work aboard Cunard's Queen Elizabeth Cruise Ship. 43 marble vanity units were ground down, brought back to high shine with clarity and were treated with a specialised sealer which helps prevent etching meaning the finish will last alot longer than a standard seal.
This was all carried out in Singapore which was a fantastic experience getting to see this wanderful city working along side several trades during a two week refurb of the ship.
