Hampshire Hard Floor Care is a family-run business personally run by Richard and Michelle. We specialise in the cleaning, restoration, and protection of hard flooring across Hampshire, using a combination of professional training, advanced machinery, and industry-approved products.

From deep mechanical cleaning and machine-assisted honing to professional sealing and finishing systems, every stage of the process is carried out by us as the owners. We take the time to assess each floor properly, choose the correct pads, tools, and chemistry, and work methodically to achieve the best possible results.

Amtico and Karndean floors are highly durable, but their textured surfaces and protective wear layers can still trap dirt, grime, and residues over time. Without correct maintenance, this build-up can lead to dullness, patchy appearance, scuffing, and premature wear of the surface coating. While LVT is not porous like natural stone, it can still suffer long-term damage if inappropriate cleaning methods are used.

DIY cleaning often isn’t enough — and using the wrong products or techniques (such as steam mops, harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive pads) can break down the protective finish, cause lifting at the edges, or leave permanent surface damage.

Richard and Michelle understand the unique needs of Amtico, Karndean, and Marmoleum floors. With advanced equipment and specialist floor-care products, they can safely deep-clean and restore these surfaces while protecting their appearance, texture, and long-term durability. Our cleaning method is safe for all types of luxury vinyl tile (LVT), flexible vinyl, and Marmoleum surfaces. We use specialist pH-balanced products and carefully controlled cleaning techniques that lift out dirt, residues, and traffic wear without damaging the protective wear layer or affecting the factory-applied surface treatment.

Unlike harsh chemicals, steam cleaning, or abrasive pads — which can break down coatings, cause whitening, or permanently dull the finish — our approach preserves the natural integrity and appearance of your floors. Each floor is individually assessed, allowing us to adjust our tools, brushes, pads, and cleaning solutions to suit the specific brand, style, construction, and level of soiling.
