Is My Natural Stone Floor Worth Restoring or Should I Replace It?

Are you thinking of replacing your stone floor, worktop, or vanity unit you may want to re-think it. Here are a few reasons why.

1. More Cost Effective

Damage and wear-and-tear to stone, depending on severity, can in many cases be repaired and made to look like new by a reputable restoration service. Cracks can be repaired, scratches removed and stains treated. Quite often, for substantially less than the cost of replacement.

2. A New Look

You can now change the look of your stone floor to suit your décor, from high shine to matt or the other way round. Once stripped and repaired, stone can be finished in many ways including; rough to smooth or vice versa, in some circumstances tints can be added to give more depth.

3. Hidden Treasure

Could there be a beautiful floor lurking under that dull, unattractive one that you have grown to dislike. Perhaps the possibility has gotten lost in the built up grime. It is worth finding out if what you’ve got is something worth keeping once it’s cleaned up and repaired.

So, as you can see, there are some good reasons to consider keeping your stone floor or surface. If you want to find out what we can do for you call Richard on 07773655075 or richard@hampshirehardfloorcare.co.uk
